Steve comes to us after a 15 year banking career that included mortgage lending, home equity financing, and intricate and complicated commercial real estate transactions. Steve has first-hand knowledge of the ever changing banking landscape as it pertains to mortgage or construction loan financing and has worked with many first time home buyers as they begin on their trek to home ownership. He is a Real Estate Broker and a Certified Seller Representative who ascribes by the motto that “the only person you should be better than is the person you were yesterday.” He loves spending time with his family and helping the community in his spare time.
Steve has volunteered and served in numerous committees in La Grange because he feels that a strong commitment to the area creates a stronger and more vibrant community. Steve is a past president of the La Grange Business Association, and has also served as the organizations’ Treasurer. The La Grange Business Association is a 100+ member organization of business leaders from La Grange that organizes events such as the West End Art Festival, the Summer Art Project, and the La Grange Holiday Walk for the residents of La Grange, and the surrounding community, to enjoy.
Steve was also the president of the Rotary Club of Countryside whose motto is “Service above self”. This group of Countryside leaders celebrates 75 students from Lyons Township High School that have raised their Grade Point Average by the largest percentage. This is a tremendous accomplishment for the students, and the Rotary acknowledges their hard work at the ‘Diamond Achievement Awards Banquet’ where each young adult is given dinner, a plaque, and also has the opportunity to win one of two $1,000 scholarships to be used for higher education. Apart from his work for Countryside’s Rotary Club, Steve was also elected City Treasurer of the City of Countryside in April of 2007. Through hard work, some sacrifice, and new businesses coming to town, Steve was pleased to help the City balance their budget, and earned recognition for their strong performance and increased bond rating.

Erika Chavez is a Broker Associate who has been helping clients achieve their real estate goals since 2004. As a lifelong resident of the Chicago area, she has extensive knowledge of the surrounding communities, such as Lombard, Glen Ellyn, LaGrange, Brookfield, Berwyn and Western Springs.
Erika is a Certified Negotiation Expert and a Certified Home Staging Consultant, as well as a seasoned Short Sale expert. Erika’s depth of expertise is an advantage to her home seller clients, who benefit from her array of marketing strategies, local insights and sound advice. Her home staging and sales talents lead to top-dollar offers, while her tenacious negotiation and attention to detail take the stress out of the home selling process.

Lisa Lockerby - Client Services Director - The Rouso Group
Lisa has a 20+ year background in business development, sales & marketing working for a variety of organizations throughout the Western Suburbs. She has over 10 years of direct real estate experience working as both a broker and in a business development and marketing capacity. Her role as Director of Client Services for the Rouso Group entails providing exceptional customer service for all clients throughout the listing transaction process. As a licensed real estate broker Lisa works in conjunction with the Marketing Manager regarding social media and advertising strategies to ensure our clients receive the best possible exposure regarding the sale of their home.
Lisa also functions as the Operations Manager of The Rouso Group coordinating the daily responsibilities between the brokers and administrative staff.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from St. Norbert College and resides in Downers Grove with her husband and (3) children. Her hobbies include reading, watching her kids’ sporting activities and traveling.
